Famous watchmaker Frederique Constant has recently added a new luxury timepiece to its Runabout collection. The 34-mm watch boasts a 42-hour power reserve, a silver dial with guilloche center decoration, hand-applied Arabic hour markers and a sapphire display back. It is available in stainless steel or with rose gold plating. Called the Runabout Moonphase, the timepiece is clearly inspired by the small Runway motorboats. Naturally, it is water resistant to 100 meters.
Each of the only 1,888 pieces in the limited edition will be sold with its own custom handmade wooden box and a miniature boat. The new Frederique Constant collection will be showcased at the 39th annual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance Wooden Boat Show. After all, the watch manufacturer is the official sponsor of the event (August 12-13, California).
