Royal Salute Unveils the Tribute to Honor Rare Whisky Blend

Royal Salute Unveils the Tribute to Honor Rare Whisky Blend (4)

Royal Salute is a renowned Scotch Whiskey maker and now they are here with a new limited edition blend, called Tribute to Honor. The rare blend is meant to pay tribute to the Honors of Scotland, the oldest royal jewels of the British Isles.

For this purpose, master blender Colin Scott selected only those whiskies from the Royal Salute archives that were similar in flavor and intensity. He is the only one to have tasted the blend up until now. The archive includes only whiskeys that have been matured for at least 45 years, which makes the Tribute to Honor blend truly exquisite.

The bottles in which the rare whisky will come will be handmade from black porcelain and will boast 413 black and white diamonds each. The gold and silver outer collar will be engraved with the Sword of State, decorated with 22 carats of gemstones. A lion will be set on either side of the sword, marking the patriotism and courage with which the Scottish monarchy fought all its battles. Each of the only 21 bottles will be priced at $200,000 (taxes excluded), but one of them will remain in the vault of Chivas Regal.
