Richard Mille’s popular RM 030 watch is getting some very special attention from its maker. Inspired by the success of the Black Knight RM 010 and RM 016, the renowned watchmaker has decided to turn the RM 030 into a very special limited edition model by giving it the Black Knight treatment.
Only 25 RM 030 Black Knight will ever be created, and they will feature a calibre RMAR1 automatic movement with declutchable rotor system. This feature was introduced to avoid high-tension winding and to optimize the watch’s functioning time.
The timepiece shares more with its predecessors than just the name. It also features the same color scheme, with black DLC finish for the titanium case, and a number of contrasting red highlights. The strap is made of rubber, and the buckle is also DLC-treated. No word on the price just yet.
