Famous adventurer Sir Richard Branson, the founder of the ever-flourishing Virgin Group, has recently set a new record with his 105-foot catamaran, called Necker Belle. The carbon fiber vessel was the largest multihull to participate in a BVI Regatta and even though it didn’t win the race, it received a lot of praise for its outstanding performance.
Built in 2003, the boat received a complete refitting at Azzura Marine in Australia. It is currently available for charter at $100,000 per week and it can accommodate up to ten guests in four staterooms with en-suite facilities, plus the cabin lounge area, which can be transformed into a double cabin. There’s also enough room on the catamaran for seven crew members to cater to all your needs. Necker Belle has even got an open-air cinema and a wine cellar for complete entertainment. Oh, and we shouldn’t forget the three-person aero-submarine it carries with it.
