The piece was unveiled during the SIHH 2016 event, and it includes a brand new Gyrotourbillon movement housed within the brand’s manual winding Calibre 179. This movement is 30% lighter when compared to its predecessor, and it includes an external driving mechanism.

As we’ve come to expect from a Reverso watch, this one also features two distinct sides. The front comprises a white hour and minutes dial with blued steel Dauphine hands at the upper section, while the lower section includes the seconds display with its rotating graduated disc. The reverse side of the dial shows the engraved movement as well as a dual time display and a day/night indicator at 2 o’clock.

Limited to just 75 units, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon timepiece costs $270,000.
