Remarkable Explorer Yacht by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tech

Hydro Techhave recently introduced their new 57m (187 ft.) Explorer yacht based on the design of company founder Sergio Cutolo. Created to offer total comfort and a lot of space to all passengers, the vessel flaunts a series of smart solutions that allow it to make excellent use of its every inch of space, which in turn permits it to boast a series of amenities that are usually seen in larger yachts.

Here is an example: the Explorer sores tenders on both sides of the main deck, thus leaving the aft area free and ready to be used as sauna zone, beach club, or even another storage area for some extra water toys. Maybe a small Triton submarine, if that’s what the owner prefers.

Even though this vessel is based on a rather small platform, it is actually a very reliable ocean cruiser capable of sailing in hot and cold weather alike. This detail required extra creativity in design, because extreme temperatures would restrict passenger’s access to the outdoor areas. Thus, the designers had to come up with ingenious solutions of helping people reach the various spaces of yacht vessel without having to step out on the decks.

Both guests and crew members will enjoy plenty of space and comfort onboard the Explorer. The first will have the possibility to choose between a VIP cabin, four doubles, and a huge suite for the owner occupying an entire deck. Living and entertaining spaces are also quite generous, and they include a spa pool, a sky lounge, and more.

Powering the yacht are two MTU 12V 4000 M 63 engines that ensure a 16 knot top speed and a 15 knot cruising speed. Range-wise, passengers can enjoy 3,000 miles of uninterrupted voyages at 15 knots, or even 5,500 miles at 13 knots. And if they should find themselves surrounded by water without a drop of fuel, a helicopter could easily come and save them, landing on the vessel’s helipad.
