British automaker Radical specializes in making awesome street-legal supercars that seem to be designed for track use only. One of them is the furious SR3 SL, a model that came out a few moths ago, but which has never been displayed at an international auto show outside the UK before. Actually, no Radical creation has ever been shown at a major automotive event outside the country, which makes this Frankfurt appearance really special.
The engine is a 300-hp version of the 2,000cc Ford-RPE EcoBoost that powers the Focus ST. Modified in-house by Radical, it is mated to a 6-speed paddle-shift sequential transmission. At only 1,500 lbs, the SR3 SL definitely boats some pretty impressive performance figures.
