Luxurious, spacious and undeniably modern, this residence in Bangkok, Thailand was sketched out by OPENSPACE DESIGN. Dubbed Wind House, the project was finished in 2013, and it impresses with a tight connection with its surroundings, as it even incorporates nature in its design. The designers wanted to open up the home in unique ways that wouldn’t really be possible in some parts of Europe and North America, and they were able to take advantage of Bangkok’s pleasant warm weather.
Therefore, some of the walls boast gorgeously finished horizontal slats of wood instead of concrete or plaster elements, which means that they allow the breeze to pass through the entire room. The upper floor walkways that separate the rooms have half-height glass features, which leaves their top part opened up in order to afford amazing views of the surrounding environment while allowing fresh air within.
