Wealthy parents are known to spend a lot of money in order to ensure the health and comfort of their little ones, but when it comes to purchasing a baby crib that’s worth millions of dollars, even the richest parents would pause and think twice before pulling out their credit cards. The world’s most expensive baby crib is called Dodo Bassinet, and it was sketched out by the CEO of Suommo, Ximo Talamantes.
This lavish product costs no less than $16.6 million and is a part of a larger Dodo Bassinet collection, which includes identically-designed cribs in rose gold, white gold, silver or elegant black. The crib requires 6 months to be complete and flaunts exquisite embroideries made using Pima cotton and gold yarn, not to mention the fact that the bedding is created using wild silk.
With a height of 3.7 feet and a weight of 414 pounds, Dodo Bassinet would be a great addition to any baby room, especially since it can be decorated according to the owner’s preference with a special plate made out of white gold and diamonds or pure gold and diamonds. The first option is priced at about $122,000, while the second one costs approximately $116,000.
