Built in Italy by a team of dedicated engineers from Energica, Eva is a powerful and great looking electric motorcycle that’s bound to attract some attention once it hits the streets. It is powered by a permanent magnet oil cooled motor that offers an output of 93 horsepower and 125 lb ft of torque, which is quite impressive as we’re talking about a lightweight two-wheeler.
Energica Eva can run for 124 miles on a single charge, and it can reach a top speed of 124 mph in Sport Mode. A complex vehicle control unit keeps tabs on vital components such as the electric inverter, charger, battery and anti-lock braking system in order to make sure that everything is in working order at all times. Featuring no gearbox or clutch, the bike is equipped with a ride-by-wire system that enables the rider to control the motor using regenerative torque braking. The materials used in the manufacturing process comprise steel for the tubular framing and fiberglass for the paneling.
Other highlights include Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in GPS.
