The unique motorcycle that you’re looking at right now is based on a reliable and maneuverable Yamaha SR500 from 1978, and it was created by a Chicago-based company named Powder Monkees and Shaun Brandt from Federal Moto. The main modifications included replacing the fuel tank with a Yamaha TT500, while the headlight was swapped with one found on a Honda TL250.

The engine didn’t receive much attention but the same cannot be said for the mono-shock rear suspension, which is now a Triumph Street Triple located directly below the custom seat. The engine is complemented by a Mikuni VM38MM carb and a K&N crankcase breather filter, while the head-mounted Motolanna compressions release sits on top of two Metzler Karoo 3s tires. Dubbed “Sunshine State of Mind”, this unique two-wheeler was designed for the occasional short rides on the streets of South Florida.
