The price of these high-end cameras is justified by their impressive full-frame CCD sensors of 50, 60 or 80 megapixels, as well as by the 70mm, 35mm, or 23mm ALPA lenses that complement them. Then there are the leather grips and rosewood handles, the wide and all-round focal length Rodenstock lenses and the 5-year warranties for the camera body and the lenses.
As you can see, these products are definitely out of the reach of amateur photographers. They are in a league of their own, matched only by the world’s most expensive cameras such as the Leica S2-P or the Phase One P65+.
