What? You thought Lotus made cars exclusively? The C-01 superbike by Lotus has been under development for the past 2 years, and it now stands ready to prove once and for all that the famed British automaker is actually quite capable of manufacturing exquisite 2-wheelers as well. As you may have noticed on a glance, this bike looks oddly familiar with the futuristic vehicles portrayed in the “Tron: Legacy” movie, and this is actually no mere coincidence since the C-01 was designed with the help of Daniel Simon.
The carbon fiber and titanium body was put together by experts from Kodewa, and as you can see for yourself, this thing looks absolutely phenomenal in its final form. Boasting a curb weight of just under 400 lbs, the Lotus C-01 superbike is equipped with a powerful 1195cc V-twin engine that’s good for 200 horsepower.
Limited to just 100 units, this outstanding vehicle is customizable according to the client’s preference, but unfortunately, we have no information regarding its asking price at the moment. It won’t be cheap, that’s for sure.
