EN-V electric vehicle (7)

General Motors’ most significant project since the Chevrolet Volt, is the incredibly small and agile EN-V electric vehicle. It offers the most convenient city drive with its myriad of innovative technologies. All three models (the Xiao, the Miao and the Jiao) can transport two people at a speed of up to 25 mph.

Measuring approximately six feet tall, four feet long and four feet wide, the compact En-V can fit in any parking place, taking up a quarter of the space a SUV would. GM created the vehicle in collaboration with Chinese company SAIC and promises a 25 miles range.

Because it uses the same type of mechanics that the Segway does, its agility is really amazing: it can even make a 180ᵒ turn within its own length. But the most impressive feature of all remains the EN-V’s ability to drive you to/from work on its own. Thanks to a system of video cameras and integrated GPS, the vehicle can become completely autonomous on the road. You don’t even have to be in the car while it goes to pick your friend up from a party.
