The Beats By Dr. Dre brand is certainly making its way into the world of luxury and comfort, as the company has recently announced its partnership with one of the most appreciated hotels in New York: The Peninsula Hotel. The partnership will allow those fortunate enough to spend some time at the hotel to make full use of Beats By Dre products, namely the Powerbeats2 Wireless earphones, the Studio Wireless headphones and the Beats Pill speaker.
Admittedly, guests won’t benefit from this particular service too much as many rooms in the luxurious hotel are probably already outfitted with high-end audio equipment. The brand will also make its way into Major League Baseball through a set of limited edition, team themed Studio Wireless headphones. This certainly looks like a rather aggressive marketing campaign that aims to increase the popularity of Beats products as much as possible. As far as the hotel is concerned, its rooms now have Beats menu cards that allow guests to choose what product they would like to receive to their room. Furthermore, those who fall in love with these products can always purchase them at The Spa. We’re basically talking about room service for audiophiles. Will it catch on? We’ll just have to wait and see.
