Roman Abramovich is again in the spotlight. This time it’s his £150 million home in Lowndes Square, London. Just when we thought he was done spending fortunes this year on islands and yachts, he surprised us with this new acquisition.
He actually planned this move for years as he bought the nine flats of the building in time. Now the purchase is complete: a palatial mansion with five stories above ground and three more underground. It flaunts two guest suites (which will be equipped with en-suite bathrooms), six family bedrooms, a children’s study, a steam room and a sauna, an indoor swimming pool, an entertainment room and a cinema.
Of course, there is more to it than the public may know, so we can only imagine just how luxurious the mansion can be. Abramovich seems to try and conquer the whole world, property by property.
