Paramount Pictures is responsible for some of the most amazing movies the world has ever seen, and now the fabled company is ready to expand its portfolio to include luxury, movie-themed resorts as well. The first such project is going to take shape in Dubai, which is always an excellent place to start any new luxury experience.
The complex will be called Damac Towers by Paramount and it will consist of four 820-foot towers, three of which will feature DamacMaison–Paramount co-branded serviced residences, leaving one solely for the novel Paramount Hotel & Residences brand of hospitality.Guests here will obviously enjoy a vast in-room film library. They will also have access to a multi-level plaza with events facilities, fine restaurants and bars, swimming pools, fitness center, kids center, a retail area and of course a screening room.
Offering 540 rooms and lavish suites, the towers promise “the same tried and tested production process, pioneered by Paramount Pictures at the studio, to direct, design and detail a world-class experience. The project is scheduled for completion in 2015, and a number of other similar complexes will reportedly follow in the years to come. The next such resort will open in in Boao, on Hainan Island, China in 2016. Some of the upcoming properties will be constructed within exciting Paramount Parks, while others will be part of existing integrated resorts.
