This Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch broke the record for the most expensive Rolex time-only watch. The luxury timepiece features a 14 carat yellow gold case and a cloisonné enamel dial by Marguerite Koch, showing the two Americas. It was initially expected to fetch between CHF 130,000 – 190,000 (approximately $142,100 – $207,700), but the bidders seemed to have wanted it so much that they didn’t stop until it was sold for a whopping CHF 662,500 (or some $722,000).
