The upcoming 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show will reveal upgraded versions of the stock Continental GT and GTC, each boasting more power and better looks, without any compromise on fuel efficiency. That’s exactly the kind of change that we like to see in a car.
With 21 extra hp and 15 more lb-ft of torque than before, the Continental GT V8 S and GTC V8 S now boast 521 hp and 502 lb-ft. While the figures may not look like much, they are definitely going to make a difference in the 5,000-pound luxury car.
Drivers will also sense the effects of the stiffened springs, tweaked dampers and recalibrated stability control. Visual changes include the 20-inch wheels, altered front and rear fascias, the black grille, as well as the 10mm (0.39 in) lower stance of the car. You will soon be able to enjoy all these on long, relaxing rides, covering the same 500 miles with only one tank of fuel.
