Place this Montblanc fountain pen on a table somewhere and it’s only a matter of time before it is mistaken for a real cigar. Created for an avid cigar fan, the Figurado Creation Privee is a luxurious and elegant fountain pen that boasts a body made partially out of real tobacco leaves. In order to make sure that the fountain pen would be up to par with Montblanc’s quality requirements, the experts responsible for its creation had to come up with new techniques that allowed them to extract the oil from the leaves before wrapping them around the pen’s metal body.
Similar to a real cigar, the Figurado flaunts a custom-made banderol, but it also comes with a retractable gold nib and a tourmaline inserted in its cone. Other highlights include gold fittings set with tourmalines and a Montblanc diamond inserted on the cap top. The humidor-style presentation box was made using high quality wood, and it features a glass viewing panel. Stored inside its own compartment next to a selection of good cigars and handcrafted accessories, the Figurado Creation Privee is definitely one of Montblanc’s most original creations to date.
