Modern Jensen Interceptor by CPP

After acquiring Zagato, Bowler and Spyker, Coventry Prototype Panels (CPP) is now ready to announce  a new and very exciting project of theirs. They are planning on reviving the beautiful Jensen Interceptor, a sporting GT-class car of the 1960s and 1970s. Hand-built in the UK, the Interceptor was made in three body styles: coupe, convertible and hatchback.

The rights to the Jensen name are currently held by Healey Sports Cars of Switzerland, and the company contracted CPP to revive the brand. According to CPP, the new Interceptor will be developed in Coventry and built at the manufacturer’s new plant on Browns Lane. Production will start only in 2014, but CPP announced that we will have the honor to see the vehicle by late 2012.
