The contemporary abode that you’re currently admiring was designed by FGO/Arquitectura, and it was built in 2016 in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. The project covers a total area of 5,381 square feet, and during the construction process, the architects wanted to preserve as much of the site’s natural vegetation as possible.
The result of their efforts definitely paid off, as the residents are now able to enjoy fabulous views of the local greenery from almost every room. The house is divided into three sections, and it was created using high-quality materials such as glass, steel, wood, and concrete. The décor elements include dark wood features that contrast nicely with the concrete walls, and this effect is particularly noticeable in the living room. Another highlight comes in the form of a large outdoor swimming pool, which is framed by a wooden patio.
