To celebrate its 125th anniversary, Mercedes-Benz created a special collection of miniature cars representing six of the company’s landmark models. Collectors and Mercedes enthusiasts all over the world, make sure you don’t miss this one!
1. Benz Patent Motor Car
This three wheeler was the first automobile in the world patented as “vehicle with gas engine operation” in 1886. Now you can have your very own Benz Patent Motor Car at scale 1:43.
2. 1902 Mercedes Simplex 40hp
Following the legendary 35hp model from Mercedes was the Simplex 40hp. Lighter than the previous model, this one is a rare beauty.
3. 1936 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Special Roadster
The 1:18 scale replica shows every detail of the original car and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The “K” part of the car’s name stands for the compressor and underlines the fact that this version is actually an improved 500 model.
4. Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe, W1981
With an alluring design and impressive gullwing doors, this baby used to be just as famous back in its days as the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is today: with a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), this was the fastest production car of its time.
5. 1972 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, W116
This model was the first one to officially receive the S-Class name, even though previous sedans used to be called S models (from “Sonderklasse” or “special class”). It was produced from 1972 until 1979.
6. Mercedes-Benz CLS, C218
This luxe model was the starting point for the amazing next generation Mercedes-Benz CLS (C218) four-door coupe that impressed us all in 2010. The latest model will also leave us breathless.
