Harry Winston, the manufacturer of the stunning Opus Eleven watch that we covered earlier, has recently unveiled the one-off timepiece that it designed especially for the upcoming Only Watch charity auction. They called it the Midnight GMT Tourbillon and gave it some very alluring characteristics, like the exposed tourbillon, the non-centered time display and the second time zone display. Made of industrial grade platinum, the chassis is 45 mm wide. The arches on the dial evoke the ones in Harry Winston’s New York studio, and the different finishes of the dials flaunt an extensive use of sapphire crystals. Fixed on your hand with an elegant alligator strap, the timepiece is water resistant to 30 meters.
Harry Winston was a famous jeweler of the past century, who opened his first jewelry shop in 1932, but only started manufacturing high end watches in 1989. Ever since then, the brand created only the most exquisite and dazzling timepieces. We know that bidders will fight hard over this new watch.
