Have you ever seen a more gorgeous Ford Mustang? Probably not, and that’s understandable, as the “Obsidian” is based on one of the most iconic Ford models ever made. Created back in 1967, the “Obsidian” is a one-off custom build by Matt Couper from Autoworks International, and it flaunts a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed transmission as well as a fuel-injected 392ci V8 engine with a pair of Rotrex superchargers and two custom intercoolers.
Other highlights include a tubular box frame, a full coilover suspension, a four-point hidden roll cage and a NASCAR-style aluminum belly pan. As far as performance figures are concerned, we’re looking at 847 horsepower and 750 lb ft of torque, which means that this four-wheeler can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4 seconds. The vehicle will represent lot 657 at the Northeast 2016 auction, and it will surely bring in quite a bit of cash.
