If you’re not familiar with Apollo Automobil, we won’t hold it against you. The company did file for bankruptcy in 2013, after all, but not before revealing the outstanding Gumpert Apollo sports car that managed to perform a lap at the Nurburgring in 7:11.57. Things are looking up for the company, though, as it was purchased by a Hong-Kong based firm named Ideal Team Venture, which eventually renamed it “Apollo.”
The Arrow hypercar was unveiled by Apollo during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, and it looks like the vehicle will actually be inspired by the SCG003S model designed by Glickenhaus. The Arrow will initially be released as a track-only version, but a road-legal variant powered by a 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 will follow up soon after. This version will boast about 750 horsepower, and it will likely be admired for the first time in spring 2017.
