Marilyn Monroe’s Emerald Dress Sold for $504,000

Remember the famous singer and actress Marilyn Monroe? Well, besides her songs and movies she also left us some of her personal possessions. One of these was recently sold at an auction in China, through Julien’s Auctions House, for $504,000, far above the initial estimated price. We are talking about the beautiful emerald green dress which she wore when she sang I’m Gonna File My Claim, in the 1954 River of No Return movie.  

The auction took place at a resort in Macau, were personal belongings of other famous personalities such as Tiger Woods, Michael Jordon, Madonna, The Beatles and Elvis Presley, also found new owners.
