Artist Dodo Newman is working on a grand project that will commemorate 100 years since the tragic accident of the Titanic. It is a 10 meters high and 70 meter long (approximately 33 feet and 230 feet, respectively) pyramid-shaped aquarium. The monument will feature a striking diamond and crystal surface and 300 kilograms (approx. 661 pounds) of jewelry.
Inside the aquarium, fifty luxury brands from all over the world will have the opportunity to showcase their products in a truly unique environment: underwater and surrounded by marine life. This should be a powerful image, created to remind us all of the dramatic event, but also to guide our attention towards the brighter future that must come after every tragedy. The immense Titanic Project will be officially unveiled in 2012.
