Following in the footsteps of the Astronomia Tourbillon timepiece by Jacob & Co., the Jacob & Co. Astronomia Tourbillon Baguette Watch represents an improved and lavishly decorated version of its predecessor. As opposed to boasting a single large sapphire crystal bubble, this new product features small sapphire crystal pieces that are split into separate windows complemented by a larger piece at the top.
Flaunting a width of 50mm and a thickness of 25mm, the case of the watch is made out of luxurious 18k rose gold, and it comes with or without superb diamond decorations. The movement that it shelters is a complex one that can be admired in its entire splendor due to the watch’s transparency. It can be wound and set with the help of a pair of ‘bow-style’ fold out crowns located at the rear of the case.
Exquisite and expensive, the diamondless version of the timepiece costs approximately $548,000, while the bejeweled one is ready to set luxury enthusiasts back $1,015,000.
