Even though Leica’s not the most popular camera manufacturer in the world right now, its products are still noteworthy and incredibly reliable. Not too long ago, the brand unveiled a limited edition Panda-theme camera, and now we can actually present a new Titanium camera set, which was dubbed M-P Type 240.
This camera is also a part of a limited edition, and it sports two lenses, namely a LeicaSummicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH and a Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH. The control elements and the plate were created using solid titanium, which lowered the product’s weight by about 3.1 ounces when compared to its standard counterpart. Other highlights include the superb Leica engraving on the top plate, a full grain leather covering for grip and a leather sling strap. The lenses were created using aluminum, and they flaunt an anodized titanium finish.
The limited edition sets will cost about $23,000, which is to be expected given the cameras’ exclusivity, great looks and performance.
