Sketched out by an architectural firm named SAOTA, the oddly named OVD 919 Project represents a luxurious home that was completed in 2014. The residence is located in one of the most impressive neighborhoods of Cape Town, and it boasts an eye-catching concrete finish that contrasts nicely with a copper roof.
Flaunting spectacular views of the mountains and of the sea, the residence is a perfect place to come home to, and while the residents might take these panoramas for granted, the architects actually worked quite hard in order to implement them. The challenge was to create private living spaces that offer security and comfort alongside uninterrupted views of the outdoors. The project was focused on creating a modern, uncluttered building that features open plan living areas. In the end, SAOTA managed to fulfill the client’s requirements to the letter.
