Diamonds are usually worn on wrists, around fingers, or in other similar traditional key places, but every know and then we get the chance to see them adorning some very unusual objects. You probably remember the opulent gold and diamond saucepan that was unveiled last year at the Millionaire Fair in Moscow. Well, today we will show you another trivial object gone extravagant, namely the most expensive bicycle in London, flaunting diamond-studded handlebars.
Named the Brogue bike, it was designed by Nick Fitch of Hatton Garden, and interior leather design company Harcourt Design. The bike looks so precious and expensive, that it will probably determine its buyer to just keep it as a remarkable display item in his or her home. Priced at £25,000 (some $38,800), the luxury bicycle flaunts a 70’s Triumph 531 frame clad in hand-stitched leather.
The traditional Conway buckles of the matching leather saddle bag are made of sterling silver, just like the handlebar stops. While the handlebars are wrapped in fine leather, the stops are further embellished with small diamonds. The outstanding bike will soon be available at Nicolas James’ Hatton Garden showroom.
