This Louis Vuitton Tambour Driver Chronograph was specially created for this year’s Only Watch Charity Auction. The event raises money to support Duchenne muscular dystrophy research and this particular timepiece was made in collaboration with a young boy suffering from the disease. His name is Paul Pettavino.
The Tambour Driver Chronograph is made of black gold (white gold with a PVD treatment) and flaunts orange details. It has a rotative bezel, a transparent back and a thick rubber bracelet. Powered by a LJP 8181 movement, the watch is fully water resistant and is engraved with the words “Only Watch 2011” on the back. It comes in a mini Damier Graphite canvas trunk.
