Guinness has given the award for the “first chronograph” to Louis Moinet, which means that the entire world will know exactly who created this very important part of the horological world.
Obviously, the brand will now enjoy greater public awareness, especially among connoisseurs. Before it could receive the award, however, the company had to provide extensive evidence to support its claim, including historical proof, diagrams and various written testimonies by experts in the field.
