Unveiled during the Miami Boat Show that took place at the Miami Marine Stadium Park and Basin, the SV Alpha is a 38-foot-long yacht that impresses with a flared silver hull complemented by a bright red interior. It was inspired in its design by a 1967 Corvette, and that should tell you something, as its aggressive appearance is matched by a suitable powertrain.
We’re talking about a pair of 700-horsepower Mercury Racing Engines and Mercury Race 6 drives, which can enable a top speed of over 90mph. Sure, there are other vessels out there that can achieve this speed, but few of them can also deliver this level of comfort and luxury. The materials used for this awesome boat include Kevlar weave and aramid, which allow it to tip the scales at 11,200 pounds. Other highlights include a touchscreen helm area, sunpads that can be customized according to the owner’s preferences, a series of engine vents, and an optional hardtop that was designed with aerodynamics in mind.
