Limited Edition Faber-Castell Perfect Pencil

Count Anton Wolfgang von Faber-Castell represents the eighth generation of high quality writing instruments produced by the company his ancestor Kaspar Faber founded back in 1761. Under him, the fabled Faber-Castell brand has seen many innovations and extraordinary launches, including that of thePerfect Pencil, first introduced in 2008.

Exclusivity hunters will be happy to know that a new limited edition of the Perfect Pencil has recently been launched, sporting the prohibitively high price of €9,000 (approx. $12,800) a piece. Each example is manufactured with 240-year-old olive wood, which explains the limited character of the model: only 99 units will be made.

Another really special thing about the exclusive writing instrument is that it comes with 18K white gold extender and endpiece. Part of the Graf von Faber-Castell collection, the pencils have built-in erasers, and sharpeners. A final touch of opulence comes in the shape of three tiny diamonds placed on the lid.
