Chopard is a Swiss watchmaking company that specializes in creating high-end, precise and reliable products since 1860, when it was founded by Louis-Ulysse Chopard. The latest and one of the most incredible pieces ever made by Chopard is the L.U.C 8HF Power Control, which is powered by an impressive high-frequency L.U.C Caliber 01.09-L that operates at a frequency of 57,600 vph.
Apart from its impressive performance capabilities, this watch also distinguishes itself from its peers with the help of an elegant, eye-catching design. It features a 42mm case that was created using machined black ceramic that contrasts nicely with a few red elements found around an on the dial. The crown is also ceramic-made and was placed at 4 o’clock for a touch of originality
Highlights include a water resistance of 328 feet, a DLC-coated titanium case-band and a sapphire crystal on the caseback that allows the user to catch a glimpse of the movement and its complex mechanisms. The black satin-brushed dial flaunts an indicator for the 60-hour power reserve between 9 and 11 o’clock as well as a pointer that shows the date between 5 and 6 o’clock.
The L.U.C 8HF Power Control timepiece by Chopard is limited to just 250 units.
