During this year’s prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed event, McLaren Special Operations decided to show off some of its most incredible P1 hypercars. One of these cars boasts the unique patriotic French livery that used to adorn Alain Prost’s helmet, while its body is made entirely out of carbon fiber. MSO also unveiled a limited edition McLaren 675LT that honored the famous collaboration between Bruce McLaren and Denny Hulme.

The latter vehicle was inspired by a superb helmet design that was shown off by Denny Hume while he was winning Can-Am and Formula 1 championships in the 1960s. The vehicle flaunts black stripes running from its front to its rear, as well as a Silica White bodywork and yellow tinted headlamp lenses that remind of Hulme’s visor.

Last but not least, the third customized hypercar was a 650S Spider that paid tribute to Bruce McLaren himself. This ride featured a McLaren Orange finish that was also present on Bruce’s M7A Formula 1 car, which he drove across the finish line in 1968 during his very first F1 race.
