IWC Ingenieur Automatic Edition AMG GT Watch

Honoring the brand new Mercedes-AMG GT sports car, the IWC Ingenieur Automatic Edition AMG GT watch is a micro-engineering masterpiece that marks the fulfillment of ten years since Mercedes-AMG and IWC Schaffhausen began their collaboration. The piece is limited to 25 units and is the first in the world to flaunt a case made of boron carbide, which happens to be the hardest ceramic out there.

The timepiece was unveiled during the most recent Goodwood Members’ Meeting, where three iconic performance vehicles raced against each other. The cars in question are a Mercedes F1 W04, the new Mercedes-AMG GT and the classic 1971 “Legend of Spa” AMG race car. The watch’s color scheme is inspired by the Mercedes-AMG GT, and so it boasts a combination of black and yellow features. The strap has yellow lock stitch seams as well as a black layer of DINAMICA microfiber, which is also present on the roof lining, seat upholstery and steering wheel of the vehicle. No word on the price just yet.
