Swarovski and design duo Fredrikson Stallard have created a mesmerizing installation called Iris. Consisting of four giant lamps (each one measures 1.5 meters in diameter) made of Swarovski crystals and different metal treatments (gold leaf, Corten and more), this work of art is a glamorous tribute to the human eye. The installation was a highlight at the Design Miami/Basel event which ran June 13-18, 2011. This is not the first time that Swarovski has worked with Fredrikson Stallard and we are anxious to see what this relationship renewal will bring in the future.
