Industrial Building Turned Home by David Berridge Architect

Can an industrial building become a perfectly livable home? Of course it can! If you contact the right architecture studio, you can turn any austere and cold structure into a warm and inviting residence. One perfect example is that of the Brooklyn Studio, which was beautifully transformed by David Berridge Architect.

The original two-story union hall is now a nice home with a very unique configuration. As the official project description indicates, the owner – a successful artist – wanted to “push the boundaries of life/work, public/private” spaces, and we really like the result. The residence is situated in Clinton Hill neighborhood, Brooklyn, New York.
