Let’s face it: no matter how cheaper and more practical it is to ride a bike around town every day, running errands on two wheels is certainly not easier. However, a California-based bike company named Felt has come up with a very interesting solution, which took on the form of the Felt Tote’m Electric Cargo Bike.
This two-wheeler features a large frame made out of 6061 aluminum, as well as a pair of 24 x 2.35 KevlarGuard tires, and a Shimano STePS pedal assist electric motor that offers an output of 350W. The motor ensures a top speed of 20 miles per hour on a full load, which is definitely nothing to sneeze at. Other important details include front and rear taillights, an extra 400Wh battery pack, and various Shimano parts such as shifters and disk brakes.
The $4,000 asking price isn’t too bad either.
