The richest man in India has recently hosted an extravagant housewarming party for his house, which happens to be the most expensive one in the world.
We reckon by now you all know what Antilia is, and just how much it cost Mukesh Ambani (the owner) to make it. Now we are here to tell you that the skyscraper home has welcomed 80 guests for a most probably frighteningly expensive housewarming party.
The event was too private for us to have any information on how it went, but it’s not too hard to imagine what a billionaire’s party would look like. Of course, the entire thing – the party and the house itself – has caused a lot of controversy, especially since about half of Mumbai’s population is struggling with poverty.
The first electricity bill was sent to the Antilia residence bearing the amazing total of seven million rupees, which is about $153,000. At least Mukesh Ambani generates employment to hundreds of people which need to be working full time to maintain the house.
