The HiFiMan Shangri-La Jr. Promises to Offer A Special Kind of Audio Experience

The Chinese audio brand HiFiMan has gained its notoriety over time due to its high-end audio products. They have recently released a thinner version of their tube-driven amplifier system and Shangri-La electrostatic headphones. They called it the HiFiMan Shangri-La Jr. and it includes the exact technology as its flagship.

This special package weighs only 13.2 ounces and includes a pair of electrostatic headphones with 97 mm drivers.

If hooked up to an amplifier to be put to the test, the system delivers a frequency range between 7Hz and 120kHz. Not to mention about the eye-catching design, which reminds us of a retro-futuristic concept that we only see in Hollywood movie productions.

For $8,000, the Shangri-La Jr. promises to offer you an audio experience you’ve never tried before.

According to the company’s founder and CEO, Dr. Fang Bian, when listening to well recorder music on these headphones you experience the same pleasure as an acoustically accurate concert hall.

On top of this, the Shangri-La Jr. is marketed as the best personal listening system under $10,000. This amount sounds more affordable (if we can say so) than the original Shangri-La system that was priced at a staggering $50,000 when it was launched in 2017.

If we were to compare the original version with the slimmed-down one, we could say that the HiFiMan Shangri-La Jr. is the best deal you could ever make.
