For next spring Frida Giannini, the Creative Director of Gucci has prepared some very bold and interesting new outfits. With great dedication to details, the Spring 2011 collection surprises and enchants at the same time.
Bright lively colors were graciously worn on the catwalk in creative combinations and original shapes. Purple, bright blue, orange, green or even gold, each color found its unique place in these Gucci outfits.
Then came the milder shades of cream, ivory, light brown and white. Not only the colors were different in the second part of the presentation, but also the cuts of the clothes. Various styles flaunting some key elements like fringes or imperial-like golden elements were presented at the event.
From warm romantic shades things got dramatic with all-black outfits and again golden inserts. But all the way we could see several trends repeatedly reappearing on the stage: vintage influences combined with modern structural shapes, complex details, fluid fringes, monochromatic outfits and a lot of gold effects.
