Grace Pro: The First Street-Legal Electric Bike

Michael Hecken and Karl-Heinz Nicolai are the creators of the first street-legal electric motorbike. The Grace Pro e-bike is powered by a 1.3kW motor that can push you on the road with 45 km/h (28 mph). After a one hour charge, the li-ion batteries will keep the bike rolling for about 50km, or 31 miles.

Customers can choose from the three available frame option: race, city an universal. While the Race model sells for €7,398 or $10,100, the other two cost €6,999, or $9,530. Mounted on the handlebar, there is  a small computer with two headlights. Buyers will have the opportunity to choose from several computer options, 64 colors and even a waterproof battery case.
