The highly innovative YikeBike folding electric bike is now available in a new version from its makers at the Christchurch Company. While the first model is made of carbon fiber, the new one has the structural parts and the frame made of alloy and strengthened polymer composite, making it less expensive. So basically the difference between the two models is that the original YikeBike is lighter (10.8 kg as compared to 14 kg), while the Fusion is lighter on the pocket ($2,000 as compared to $3,000). Fusion’s design and functionality however are just as stunning as its archetype’s.
