From Facebook to Forbes

The young founders of the online  social directory and networking website, Facebook, are now worthy of joining Mark Zuckerberg on Forbes’ 2011 list of billionaires. The company’s CEO still holds the best position among them, of course: Zuckerberg ranks 52nd with $13.5 billion.

Dustin Moskovitz is currently the new youngest billionaire, and that’s only because he’s eight days younger than Zuckerberg, who used to own the title before. Moskovitz’s wealth is estimated at $2.7 billion. After him come Sean Parker and Eduardo Saverin, which both have $1.6 million. Missing the list is another Facebook founder, Chris Hughes, however we don’t know Forbes’ reasons for excluding the young man from their ranking.

But the co-founders are not the only people related to Facebook that got to own a place on the 2011 Forbes “World’s Billionaires” list. Investor Peter Thiel for instance has also secured himself a spot with his $1.5 billion fortune, and so has Yuri Milner, another investor that has got $1 billion.

Eric Lefkofsky and Marc Pincus, both with fortunes of $1 billion, have also made it on Forbes’ pages thanks to Facebook. They are two people from Zynga, the website’s largest platform developer.

All in all, it seems that working for Facebook is not at all a bad thing!
