The most recent edition of the prestigious Baselworld event brought with it the release of numerous exquisite timepieces, many of which impress with luxuriousness and uniqueness. Today we’re going to focus on a remarkable piece signed by Tag Heuer, which was created for none other than Cristiano Ronaldo, who obviously needs to further introduction. The legendary football player became one of Tag Heuer’s brand ambassadors one year ago, and the Swiss watchmaker created this limited edition chronograph in his honor.
Based on Tag Heuer’s already acclaimed Formula 1 watch, the timepiece has a 42mm case finished in titanium carbide – a very durable refractory ceramic material that was also used for the bezel. The watch boasts a black and green theme and comes with a NATO strap. For a touch of exclusivity, the back of its case flaunts a “CR7” engraving complemented by a representation of a football. The dial comes with a checkered pattern and features its own CR7 logos and Tag Heuer badge.
The TAG Heuer Formula 1 CR7 timepiece costs about $1,500 and is expected to become available for purchase in July 2015.
