First SRT Viper Raises $300,000 for Children with Cancer

The first SRT Viper has been sold for charity purposes alone! The outstanding car, flaunting an 8.4-liter V10 engine and a six-speed manual transmission with limited-slip differential, raised $300,000 at the Barrett-Jackson orange County auction, with every last penny going straight to the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.

The 640-horsepower car is not only amazing on the road, but also in helping the non-profit foundation which supports children who are affected by cancer, and also their families. According to SRT Operations Director, Beth Paretta, the company is “really excited that the first 2013 SRT Viper went for $300,000, with the entire sum going straight to charity. We couldn’t be happier to raise money for such an important cause.” What a great way to sell the first SRT Viper!
